Proton Pigeon is an electronic musician from San Jose, CA. As though assembled from the ruins of a great metropolis, PP's songs evoke a dystopian world ruled by machines and devoid of warmth. Inspired by 80's synth-pop, video games, classic science fiction, and breakfast cereal, PP made his debut at the BOLD/HARD release show in 2007 with a popular and entertaining performance that included covers of Fad Gadget and The Human League. Even at this early date, he had already begun to conceptualize a dark electronic vision of a future highway, finally realized in 2009 with the long-awaited release of Opt Not Pluto Pop. PP's exciting brand of shoegazy electronica is sure to blow listeners' minds.
