Pseudo has always been writing poems, but the influence of hip-hop music in his early teens brought about a need to create verses. Producing music and writing to it was a relatively long process as playing live music and writing begun at two very different points in his life, but the 'conscious' movement of the early 2000s depicted a niche where his love of both the lyrics and style of beats contributed immensely to wanting to start his own song making.

After meeting at college, Brando helped a lot by giving the belief that material they made could have an effect on peoples lives, and that they both had the intelligence and talent to succeed.
