Popcore

Popcore refers to a trend in the Pop-punk scene today. It takes influence from New Found Glory with their minor examples of screaming and heavy Hardcore punk influences in pop-punk. It, simply put is pop punk which combines metalcore and post-hardcore traits breakdowns and screaming, and in some cases used melodic hardcore's speed and Gutair work. The most prominant examples are A Day To Remember and Four Year Stong.
