21Pillz (ne' Jovan P. Miller) hails from the west side of Chicago but is ready to take the world by storm. With three mixtapes already under his belt ("Kinfolk Ener-G Presents: Family Ties" (2010), "The Warning Mixtape: Pill 2" (2009) "The Get 'N' Motion Mixtape: Pill 1 (2008), the producer, emcee, singer, and songwriter is preparing to release his latest project "The Takeoff: Pill 3." under his imprint ACEFAM Productions. "I was in Las Vegas when I recorded my other pills so I decided to come back to Chicago for this one. Just to get that home vibe you know? I experienced so many things and gained so much knowledge, musically and life wise, when I left. Now my mind is really set and ready to make the best music of my life. Making music that means something, moves the soul, and your body all in one." Pillz gives the prediction that "The Takeoff: Pill 3" will be the one that gets you hooked... hence the title. "I'm a producer first so I wanted to make sure the music on this project was timeless. I worked with my longtime collaborator, E-Jilla Beats, to really make sure we covered all grounds, from the street to the suburbs." Songs like "Bottles In The Air" and "Momma Told Me" gives you the pulsating, bass heavy vibe with no fear of experimenting with sounds. "Quit Playin" and "That Easy" brings sex appeal to story telling: one with a slow Timbaland-esque groove and the other with a beat that will having you stepping away.
