Celsa Maxwell or Celsa Crabbe is a 25 year old singer-songwriter from Belgium. She was born and raised in a musical family as both parents gained success with the 90s band “Betty Goes Green”, while her brother, Lenny Crabbe, was the frontman of “Freaky Age”. At the age of 16 she moved to Brighton, UK, where she studied songwriting at the British Institute of Modern Music (BIMM). (Fellow alumni include: George Ezra, James Bay, The Kooks, etc.

Celsa Maxwell or Celsa Crabbe is a 25 year old singer-songwriter from Belgium. She was born and raised in a musical family as both parents gained success with the 90s band “Betty Goes Green”, while her brother, Lenny Crabbe, was the frontman of “Freaky Age”. At the age of 16 she moved to Brighton, UK, where she studied songwriting at the British Institute of Modern Music (BIMM). (Fellow alumni include: George Ezra, James Bay, The Kooks, etc.). The past few years she has been preparing the release of her first album, while improving her recording and production skills. Everything is recorded by Celsa herself, embracing a lo-fi sound, as she believes the true sentiments of music lie in its imperfections. However, in December 2019, Celsa suffered of unilateral deafness in her right ear, which is probably caused by a virus. This has put a huge setback in her work, because she is only able to hear basses through her right ear. The next six months, it wasn't really possible for her to write or even listen to music, but this didn't hold her back to steadily craft music again with an even greater determination to release music to the wide audience. This leads to various singles as Yours Truly, The Circle, The Way She Goes and Magical Mystery Baby. Her debut album "In The Mythical Land Of Sound" will be released on the 26th November 2021.
