They made their debut showcase on February 29, 2016 and released their official debut single album entitled KNOCK on March 3, 2016. After leaving YNB Entertainment in September 2018 and having member Youjin leave because of his panic disorder, KNK are now signed under 220 Entertainment. On December 20, 2019 the group added Lee Dongwon to the group. They made their first comeback with the new lineup on January 7, 2019.
