Martitchie started at the beginning of 2009, creating comedy music whilst Ritchie's brother was sat upstairs studying for exams. After that they got more serious and made funky/metallish music, although they never actually put anything down on paper, it's all improvisation. But then the problem of playing your own songs again is that you have to listen to it carefully and play it in the exact same way! The more serious side of Martitchie shows the funky/metal style - a little bit of vocal comedy but more funk than lyrics - The 'band' (if you could call it a band) makes very strange music that is both melodic and improvised! You could call it Drum N Bass & sometimes vocals ;) The band: Mart Ritchie Lee = Martitchie :'D
