Mellow Baku is a singer/songwriter. Born Mellow Harmony Avstreih, Mellow Baku spent her early childhood listening to soul, reggae, and jazz. Her father was Rastafarian actor and writer Shango Baku and her mother was a 1970s blues singer. Her debut album Patchwork Prophecies is made up of her own material, melding jazz, reggae, and folk.
