The band consists of: Andrew Purdam — Decades of experience accompanying diverse dance and performance artists, from Indian and middle Eastern percussion to Greek accordion, Irish bouzouki and Bulgarian voice. Influences include Igor Stravinsky, Ayub Ogada, Jimi Hendrix, Nikhil Ghosh and bushwalking.

Nitya Bernard Parker — A Kiwi singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist who brings lush melodic textures with flutes such as bansuri and various reeds. Influences include Jan Garbarek, Hariprasad Chaurasia Prasad, Pharaoh Sanders Robin Guda — Classically trained in Bangladesh, virtuoso singer and exponent of the tabla. Influences include Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Simon Attwood — English guitarist, busily weaves a host of acoustic and electric sounds into the fabric of Mohona. Influences include Jeff Beck, John McLaughlin and ornithology.
