Philly-based MC Vaughn Smith (Real name: Vaugh Levin Smith) often associated with boom-bap styles, made his debut in 1996 with the cassette-only release of "Diamondz And Pearlz". In 1997, his sophomore album "Livest Spot In The City" (available on CD and cassette) created a certain buzz in the underground Hip Hop community, accompanied by the 12" single release of "Top Celebrity" b/w "When I Come Thru".
