ギミック (Gimmick) was a visual kei band from Japan from 2003 to 2005. Despite the fact that they seemed quite promising with their catchy music, they only existed for a short period of time. The band mostly gained its fame from the fact that guitarist Ayano had formed this group after he left the band ヴィドール (Vidoll) . Their name is easily confused with the band Gimmick, which is written in English, while Ayano's band is written as ギミック in Katakana.
