Blue Morpho refers to a lodge in the peruvian amazon where, under the guidance of curanderos (healers, shamanic guides) Hamilton Souther, Don Alberto Torres Davila, and Malcolm Rossiter, ayahuasca (a sort of potion made from a mixture of sacred plant medicines, notably the vine of the soul, ayahuasca, for which it gets its name) is ritually consumed in healing ceremonies. Such ceremonies are guided by chant- or lullaby-like songs called icaros.
