Chick habit is known to lead the way between Japanese sugarpop, messy punk and rough rock with role models such as K Record's All Girl Summer Fun Band, energetic Mikabomb and Helen Love with her bubbelgum-melancholy. It's been over 2 years since cult indie label silence records picked them up and released the first Chick Habit single "Bullshit Radio" (in October 2004) soon to be followed by the debut album "More More More More" in March 2005. (Produced by Henrik Cederberg, former bass player of "KAi Martin & Stick" and "Garboshock") The album left few without an opinion, mostly based on singer Milène Larsson's characteristic high voice and the liking of Chick Habit's intense energy and way of playing with naivity in a somewhat sarcastic way. For the time being, Chick Habit is working on new material and rehearsing with a new guitarist. The new songs have a more distinct sound taking some new musical paths. The 4 chord punk riffs have been exanged to melodic walls of sound. Rumbling beautiful heaviness and rythms beating you right where your heart is.
