Born in London Jay Hadj-Aissa became interested in music at the early age of 10 and began to learn guitar, he never took to guitar much and began to become interested in a multitude of different instrumentalists including Drums, Keyboard and becoming a singer but none stuck. After attending his first year at a music course at college after dropping out of school Jay quickly found a fondness for producing music with analog instruments and working on DAWs.

After attending his first year at a music course at college after dropping out of school Jay quickly found a fondness for producing music with analog instruments and working on DAWs. Quickly losing interest for music that he was previously listening to he became highly interested in the electronic music world. In late 2012 DWNLDR was started by Jay on a soundcloud account and has slowly been gaining a few listens. An EP is planned to be released in late August early September by Jay mostly consisting of House songs and Hip-Hop instrumentals.
