Jay Vado is one of the leaders of the new wave of Canadian R & B soul/pop and he’s set to take 2010 by storm. Born to a Venezuelan father and a Lebanese mother, Jay Vado began his musical aspirations early with a dynamic mix of cultures and influences. Since seeing his first shows, Jay Vado has been performing at every opportunity he could from local talent shows or his own concerts, his sister- now a choreographer, helped him pave the way for his uncanny ability to impress crowds of many genres. Jay started singing at age five and began writing songs at the age of 13. His charm, good looks, hard work and charisma have become a trademark for the artist he has become today. This year Jay Vado has worked with producers such as Beat Merchant and also Lynx (XX Temple Productions), the hit makers behind international group Bisso Na Bisso, Slim (from 112), and Massari. A singer, songwriter, and dancer, ‘‘Jay is a master in any medium’’. XX Temple in-house producer Lynx boasts, ‘‘He’s is a triple threat.’’ Jay has had a productive year, performing in shows across the country with artists such as Lloyd (Epic Records), Trey Songz (Atlantic) and many more to come.
