RINRIN (Qarin Hipe) is an emerging singer, songwriter and guitarist from Perth, Australia who fronts her band RinRin. She learned the guitar at age 10 and joined her Dad’s cover band when she was 13. Just 3 years later she had started her own band and was featured in a release by Perth emo band Love Me Natalie in 2019. With Covid putting live gigs on hold, RinRin started writing songs in isolation and released her debut single ‘The Game’ in July 2020.

This track caught the attention of blog sites all over the world with top Spotify listeners coming from the UK and USA and reached #1 in the Triple J Unearthed charts. In January 2021, her second single ‘Seek The Truth’ was released drawing more attention from the local indie music scene and was placed in the Top 10 of the AMRAP Metro Charts and was Number 2 in the Triple J Unearthed Metal Chart for 2 weeks. Radio stations in Japan and the USA have also been firm supporters of the tracks. ‘Hellfire’ is the first track taken from RinRin’s highly anticipated debut EP – Episode1, released on July 9th. The accompanying video is an anime masterpiece devised by RinRin herself. Top spotify listeners are in Australia, USA and Germany. The 5 track EP – Episode 1 – will be released on September 3rd, heralded by second single Blacksheep on August 20th. There will be some hugely anticipated live gigs around the release in Perth, where RinRin is supported by her super “Kuya’s” KR, James and Lawrence. Once Covid restrictions are lifted there will be international festivals and gigs waiting for the band. Recently picked up for management by Dave McLean of Riverman Management (Placebo, Deaf Havana, Dea Matrona and many more), RinRin looks ready to fly around the world, conquering the music charts and gathering fans wherever she plays.
