Kasane Teto (重音テト) is a virtual singer software created on the Japanese textboard 2channel for April Fools' Day 2008. Despite the fact that Teto was initially created as a joke, an actual voicebank was created for her using voice synthesis software UTAU, which allowed her to sing. Teto has been introduced as a "diva born from a hoax".
