Love Metal is a tag popularized by the Finnish artist HIM to define the band's explorations of the romantic and love based form of human emotions within their music.
The term is also used to describe bands that combine elements of goth rock/goth metal and glam rock/glam metal, and as such encompasses a broad range of artists which are thinly connected by lyrical themes of love, romance, depression, and other emotions that are associated with varying aspects of a relationship.
