Event or festival competitions often bring new phenomenon in the world of local music. There have been many examples of the evidence. In the arena of popular music festival, big names like Hetty Koes Endang, Harvey Malaiholo, Grace Simon and some others have become legend. In the arena of rock music Mel Shandy, Reny Jayusman, Nicky Astria and number of other names have been enough to give proof of the existence. Likewise, in the streets singing group, the name of Iwan Fals and Doel Sumbang certainly at the forefront in terms of success. Outside of these two names, it can not be forgotten Tom Slepe name, a name that emerged from the race track was initiated by Indonesian Institute of Humor (Lembaga Humor Indonesia).
