Gamer and dreamer since his childhood, Xavier started making computer-assisted music in 1997 as ‘mv’ in programs called “trackers”. He composed more than a thousand tracks with those and got recognition as well as awards in various communities (Traxinspace, ModArchive, VmiX and OCReMiX). He was the founder and a musician of ‘hellven’, a netlabel which released hundreds of free electronic music tracks between 1998 and 2008, which hosted some demoscene/tracking scene legends such as hunz, The Alpha Conspiracy, Xerxes and Jake Kaufman, among many others. He also worked on many video game remixes, one of which got released on the excellent World 1-2: The Complete Collection alongside glorious names such as Manami Matsumae, Akira Yamaoka, Ben Prunty and ABSRDST. Xavier uses other software for bigger projects and worked on more than 30 soundtracks/gigs for video games and television. Nostalgia never left though and 3 of his releases (The State EP, Metamorphoses, Release) were produced in Schism Tracker using chiptune sounds; while Bokida: Heartfelt Reunion (Soundtrack) is a 2+-hour-long ambient soundtrack composed and produced in Cubase for a video game. Xavier invested much in hardware/software and is planning a big “true” debut release in early 2019.
