In 2003 Zenyth played their first gig at the tender ages of 16 for a 60th birthday party in their home town of Cardiff. 2008 has already seen Zenyth play on the main stages alongside Pendulum, Zane Lowe, Alabama 3, Scouting For Girls , Hot Leg and will be playing alongside Babyshambles, Ozric Tentacles, Stone Gods . Zenyth have also released their debut single ‘Mr. Nobody’ in July 2008 and their second EP 'Time Wasted' from which, ‘First Kiss, Last Kiss’ was also released as a single in August. The name ‘Time Wasted’ derived from Zenyth’s wasted trip to the USA, that resulted in the band being questioned by the Detroit Immigration Police and being deported for having incorrect performance visas. The band members, Paul, Julian, Rich, Chris and Adam have their own unique, creative style and personality that combines to make the music that captures their distinctive and fresh sound. Prior to the recording of their ‘Time Wasted’ EP, Zenyth had been nominated for a Vodafone Live music Award as 'Best Unsigned Act' in 2006. They were also selected as one of the top 4 University Acts in the UK by XFM and also made TV appearances on Transmission with TMobile and Avenue11. Zenyth continue to play throughout the UK building up an increasing fan base having played with the likes of The Answer, Big Linda, Sons of Albion, Toby Jepson, SixNationState and Louis XIV. 2008 has already been a promising year for the band and they continue to receiving increased media attention and are in high demand from numerous live music venues and festival organisers from Europe and the U.S.
