Fast Cars Were Formed In 1977 By Stuart Murray And His Brother Steven At School In Swinton Manchester. They Played Pop-Punk Their Original Line Up Was Steven Murray Vocals And Main Songwriter Hyden Jones On Lead Stuart On Bass And Tony Dyson On Drums. After About 6 Months Hyden Left And Craig Hilton Joined Them And That Is Who Played On The Single "The Kids Just Wanna Dance". They Had 2 Songs Put On "A Manchester Collection" LP Orbit Records. Fast Cars Played Up And Down England Between 1977 And 1980 And Had Quite A Good Following. They Supported The Jam The Buzzcocks XTC The Rezillos The Chords And Others. read less
