The Gray Havens Are An American Christian Folk Pop Duo Formed By Husband And Wife David And Licia Radford. Originally From Crystal Lake Illinois The Couple Met On A Mission Trip To British Columbia Before Marrying In 2012. They Moved To Nashville In 2014. David A Former American Idol Contestant Is A Vocalist Guitarist And Pianist. Licia Contributes Vocals Percussion Mandolin And Ukulele. Merging Earthy Indie Folk With Lush Elements Of Pop/rock The Gray Havens Craft A Sound That Is Both Organic And Uplifting.
