6 Day Riot Is A London Based Band Formed In 2006 Featuring Tamara Schlesinger Vocals Ukulele Guitar Daniel Deavin Drums Gabriel Lucena Guitar Edd Harwood Upright Bass And Rachel Coleshill Violin Accordion . 6 Day Riot Have An Individual Eclectic Sound Taking On Influences From Folk And Pop Music. The 6 Day Riot Sound Is Both Eclectic And At The Same Time Entirely Integrated - Harnessing Ukeleles Guitars Trumpet Violin And Accordions With Eastern European Folk Beats Soca Rhythms Distorted Guitars And Infectious Pop Melodies To Create A Style Of Music Utterly Their Own. 6 Day Riot Performed At North By Northeast 2008 Debuting A New EP Bring On The Waves Featuring Songs Written For The Festival Including The Single Go! Canada. Their New EP And Single Were Released On Tantrum Records Their Own Label. This Year They Are Playing At Glastonbury And Green Man Festivals As Well As Touring The UK.
