A.C. Marias Was A British Alternative Duo Consisting Of Angela Conway Vocals Lyrics And Bruce Gilbert Guitar Production . The Group Is Connected To The Similar Post-Punk Band Wire Gilbert Having Been The Band's Guitarist. Conway And Gilbert Formed The Duo In 1980 And Released On Single "Drop" B/w "So" Before Falling Inactive. The Pair Re-Activated The Project In 1986 And Issued Three Further Singles And The Full Length LP "One Of Our Girls Has Gone Missing" 1989 . Conway Disbanded The Group In 1990 And Went Onto A Career As A Music Video Director.
