AAAK Aka As Able As Kane Are A Hard Hitting Industrial/EBM 5-Piece Band Based In Manchester Northern England. Disbanded In 1992 And Reformed In 2009. Taking Their Influences From Bands Such As Killing Joke QOTSA Rage Against The Machine The Fall & NIN The Band Describe Their Musical Genre As 'buildingscapebeat' To Give More Than A Hint
at It's Industrial/urban Underbelly. However As Able As Kane's Music Can Also Be Intricate Melodic Even And Beneath The Surface Of Everything They Do There's A Sarcastic Northern Wit - "We Like You To Smile Whilst We Pummel Your Face In" In The Last 2 Years As Able As Kane Have Appeared In The U.K Opening Up For The Fall And On Tours Across Europe Supporting Both Pixies & Red Hot Chili Peppers. They've Also Made Appearances At Several Electronic Festivals And Events. The As Able As Kane Live Show Is A Powerful & Hypnotic Experience Often Accompanied By Video And Dripping In Social Commentary. The Five Band Members Are Accompanied By Electronic Drums And Sequenced Synth Lines To Create Massive Textures And Compel The Listener To Move In Time Along With Them. Through Summer 2014 The Band Are Recording A New Album With The Working Title "Do You Understand?" This Will Be The 6th Recorded Release Under The As Able As Kane Moniker But It Will Be The First To Feature This Exciting New Line Up.
