Artist Biography For Aliza Pearl

Originally From Newark New Jersey Aliza Wrote Her First Song At Age 6. Between The Ages Of 6 And 16 Aliza Wrote Over 250 Original Songs. Of African-American And Puerto Rican Descent Musical Influences Were Diverse. Aliza Sang Gospel Spiritual And Secular Music In Grade School In High School She Sang Opera And Choral Music And In College Sang Musical Theater And Was The Lead Singer Of An Afrobeat Band.
In 2008 Aliza Acted In An Indie Feature Film Called “Something Is Killing Tate.” That Experience Led To Aliza’s Music Being Featured In The Soundtrack Of The Film Which Went On To Receive Multiple Awards At Indie Film Fests All Over The Nation And Internationally. Her Song "Shine On" From The "Something Is Killing Tate" Soundtrack Was Included In Acoustic Fuel's Digital Compilation "Girl Power " And "Ridiculous" Played In An Episode Of BET's "Played By Fame."
