Bettie Black Is The Name Formerly Used By Liz Roze As Of August 2009. Her New Band Is Called Daughter Of Mars. After Graduating SFSU With A Theatre Degree In 1997 Rose Fronted Several Acclaimed Rock Bands In The SF Club Scene Such As Glow And Runaway Bunny. This Led To Her First Record "Mega". Dark Wave ~ Goth ~ Rock.....Although Bettie Black's Music Is Often Described As Alternative She Rises Above The Modern Titles. Her Musical Influences ~ And Use Of The Color Black ~ Have Strong Roots In The Past. She Shares Common Attitudes With Songwriters As Disparate As Joy Division Johnny Cash PJ Harvey And Johnny Rotten.
