Brael Is An Electro-Acoustic Duo Currently Residing In New Haven Connecticut. Longtime Friends And Music Partners Steve Dannemiller And Joachim Hero Began Creating Music As Brael Back In Mid 2005. Inspired By Artists Such As Sigur Rós Múm And Boards Of Canada Brael Ventured Into Making Music Based On Ethereal But Catchy Melodies And Experimental But Accessible Sonic Textures. Two Songs From Their Earliest 2005 Sessions "Flypaperairplane" And "Blue Field" Are Currently Available On The Moodgadget Compilations The Rorschach Suite '06 And The Synchronicity Suite '08 Respectively. The Rorschach Suite Also Featured The Group Tokyo Bloodworm. The Two Groups Found A Mutual Interest In Each Other's Music And Decided To Collaborate. This Collaboration Began With Brael Remixing Tokyo Bloodworm's "Saturn Shrine" From Their Self-Titled Self-Released Album. Tokyo Bloodworm In Turn Remixed Brael's "Blue Field". Brael Went On To Record Vocals And Vibes Over Tokyo Bloodworm's "Seed". Tokyo Bloodworm Then Recorded Saxophone Over Brael's "Morning Of The World". Over A Few Months Of Continuing Such Collaborations The Two Groups Amassed A Full Length Album Worth Of Material That They Ultimately Released Through The Manchester-Based Label Moteer. The Album Is Called "Living Language" From Brael/Tokyo Bloodworm And Was Released On April 24th 2008. Brael's Song "Where Did The Time Go?" Was Released On Moteer's Second Sampler In April Of 2008.
