Formed In 1990 As Butthead They Changed Their Name To Buzzkill In 1992 When The MTV Character Of The Same Name Started Getting Popular. With A Seven-Song CDEP On Antidote Records One Full Length On Tee Pee Records Tooth-N-Sole And Numerous Compilation Contributions Buzzkill Has Honed Their Sound To Its Most Stripped Down And Raw. 2 Buzzkill Are A UK-Based Band. Drawing Influences From Artists As Diverse As The Sonics ACDC Rocket From The Crypt And Rancid Leeds UK Five-Piece Buzzkill Like Nothing More Than To Lay On The Swagger Play Tight Loud And Hard. Buzzkill Have A New Demo Featuring Brand New Unreleased Material That Is More Mature Both Musically And Lyrically Than What Has Gone Before. Having Released Two CDs On The Underground In At The Deep End Records Former Home Of Gallows Buzzkill Are Now Looking To Work And Record With A Label Who Share Their Passion For Rock And Roll Music. Following 2007's Tour Of The Czech Republic Buzzkill Are Not Forgetting Their Fans Back Home And Have Booked A UK Tour For Late November / Early December On Top Of Frequent One-Off Gigs Up And Down The Country. This Thirst To Play As Many Shows Both At Home And Abroad Will Continue Into 2008 And They Have Already Been Booked To Play Prague's Mighty Sounds Festival In The Summer. Over The Years Buzzkill Have Garnered A Reputation For Themselves As A Staple Of The UK Punk Underground Scene. Having Avoided A Generic Genre Identity They Have Continued To Develop And Progress Their Own Unique Style Of Punk Rock And Roll. This Independence Has Afforded Them The Luxury Of Sharing The Stage With Bands Of Various Styles Including The Damned Pretty Girls Make Graves Hot Water Music Hot Snakes The Rezillos And Capdown. Buzzkill Started Their Recording Career With A Self Released Record A Split 7" With Alt Country Musicians The Rusty Stringbreakers Featuring Members Of 10 000 Things . The Release Was Backed Up With A UK Tour As The Support For NYC Swing Band Dem Brooklyn Bums. Following This Buzzkill Went On To Release Two Highly-Acclaimed Records 2003's Double Down Followed In Late 2005 By Full-Length Album Driven By Loss Both Releases With In At The Deep End Were Followed By Tours Of Europe And The UK. The Records Achieved Excellent Reviews In National Music Publications And Have Since Received Notable Airplay Culminating In A Session For Radio One's The Lock-Up Recorded At Maida Vale Studios And Aired In Spring 2006. The Rest Of 2006 Was Devoted To Playing Live Which Included A Tour With US Cult Heroes The Ammunition Affair And A Support Slot On The Capdown Barfly Tour. Following A Successful Tour Of The Czech Republic Buzzkill Have Spent The Rest Of 2007 Working Hard On New Material. 3 Buzzkill Is A Five Piece Hard Rock Band From The Doylestown Area In Pennsylvania That Began In June Of 2009 . The Band’s Lineup Consists Of Ryan Williams On Lead Vocals Mike Grasty On Lead Guitar Brian Yorkus On Bass Guitar And Kevin Yorkus On Drums. The Band's Sound Is Created From The Minimalistic Sound Of Early Punk Bands Some Pop Influence From The Beatles And The Who. As Well As Influence From 90's Punk Rock Such As Nirvana And Green Day. Buzzkill Also Has Been Influence By Thrash Metal Bands Of The 80's. The Band's Sound Also Carries The Sound Of Black Sabbath And Judas Priest. Ryan’s Vocal Style Is Very Dynamic Like That Of Rob Halford Or Layne Staley But But Still Very Intense Like Kurt Cobain Or James Hetfield. His Vocal Range Is Very Large And His Lyrics Are Meaningful. Mike Grasty’s Lead Guitar Style Is A Mixture Of Punk Rock/thrash Metal Riffing Like Kurt Cobain. His Soloing Style Is A Mixture Of Blues And Neo-Classical Guitar.A Cross Between Slash And Randy Rhoads. Brian Yorkus's Style Of Playing Gives A Good Thick Sound To Buzzkill.
