Artist Biography For Caitlin Cary

Caitlin Cary Born In Seville Ohio On October 28 1968 Is An Alt-Country Musician. Cary Was A Part Of Whiskeytown With Ryan Adams Where She Played The Fiddle And Provided Harmonies. Since The Band Broke Up She Has Released A Series Of Albums Including "While You Weren't Looking" "I'm Staying Out" And "Begonias" A Collection Of Duets By Caitlin Cary & Thad Cockrell As Well As The EP Waltzie. She Is Also A Member Of Tres Chicas And The Small Ponds. In 1993 Musician Ryan Adams Contacted Cary And Asked Her If She Would Play Violin In A Band That He Was Starting. Cary Agreed And They Formed Whiskeytown. In 1999 She Co-Founded Tres Chicas With Glory Fountain And Recorded The Albums "Sweetwater" Yep Roc 2004 And "Bloom Red & The Ordinary Girl" Yep Roc 2006 . In 2000 Cary Released Her First Solo EP Waltzie Produced By Chris Stamey. Cary's Debut Album "While You Weren't Looking" Was Released In 2002 And Featured Whiskeytown's Mike Daly Guitar . In 2005 Cary Released An Album Of Duets "Begonias" With Thad Cockrell That Included Songs Composed By The Duo Caitlin Cary & Thad Cockrell. In 2010 Caitlin And Matt Douglas Lead Singer And Songster For The Proclivities Formed The Group The Small Ponds And Released An EP On Last Chance Records In September 2010. In 2013 Cary Co-Founded The North Carolina Music Love Army With Jon Lindsay.
