Artist Biography For Chris Slanton

Chris Slanton Is A Producer Songwriter And Singer. Now He Is Based In Zagreb Croatia.
Since His Childhood Chris Slanton Has Been Interested In Music. His Father Was Jazz Trumpeter Therefore Music Was Always Around Chris As He Grew Up.
While Studying At High School Chris Decided That He Wanted To Be A Pop Star. This Choice Wasn't A Random One As Music Had Become A Basis Of His Life.
However After Finishing School Chris Didn't Study Music Professionally. He Was Following All Basic Pop-Charts And Going Deep Into All Details Related To Writing And Recording Pop-Music As A Commercial Product. In Addition He Was Teaching Himself To Sing. But All His Knowledge Was Just Theoretical. At The End Of 1990s Chris Started To Work In TV As The Director's Assistant. This Work Didn't Bear Any Relation To Music But Was Concerned With Cinema. This Experience Proved To Be Very Useful As Time Went On.
At The Beginning Of 2000s After Leaving The Television Channel Chris Began To Realise That Time Was Running Out.
Chris Started To Carry Out Practical Experiments As Both Singer And The Producer. As The Result Of These Experiments He Created A Pop Band LifeCycle. However The Band Wasn't Able To Sign A Contract With Any Record Label And The Life Of The Project Was Brief. That Was In 2004.
The Music Group Split Up And In A Few Years Chris Started To Work On Entirely New Tracks. All Tracks Were Recorded In A Home Studio In 2009. Before That Chris Was Invited To Record Some Songs For One Member Of The Globally-Successful Pop Group T.A.T.U. Chris Produced Two Completely Different Image Concepts For Her And Wrote Two Different Songs But With The Same Text. Recorded Material Including Chris Stanton’s Vocals Was Given To Girl’s Manager In The Hope Of Future Contract With A Record Label. Unfortunately The Manager Said That That Material Wasn't Good Enough For The Singer. The Song Called "Always Me! Always You!". The Story Was Not Over However.
Meanwhile At The End Of 2009 In Zagreb Chris' Friends Had Opened An Independent Publishing Company. It Was Named Life Cycle Limited After Chris' Former Band. At The Same Time Chris Registered All Recorded Tracks With The Local Author Society HDS/ZAMP. Life Cycle Ltd. Founders Were Shaken When During 2010 Two Compositions Were Released Which Obviously Were Traced To The Song "Always Me! Always You!". Copyrighted Material Was Used Without Permission Of Chris. But What A Small Independent Label Could Do Against Two Major Labels Which Had Released What Was Frankly Plagiarism?
Then Chris Decided To Release All Recorded Tracks As Soon As Possible. And The First Single Should Be "Always Me! Always You!". It Could Provide The Listener With An Opportunity To Appreciate The True Value Of The Original Track As It Was When It Had Been Invented Back In 2009.
To Begin Chris Needed To Design The Content And To Make It Fully Ready To Publish. He Had Also Come To The Crucial Understanding That Even Very Good Music Needs In A Real Promotion. The First Step Of The New Project “Chris Slanton” Was The Production Of The Video For The Future Single "Always Me! Always You!". In This Case Chris` TV-Worker Experience Was Very Useful! Chris Acted As The Director Of The Video. The Scenario Was Written As Long Ago As 2009 At The Same Time With Recording Of The Song.
Finally The Video Was Ready And The Single Was Released On Life Cycle Limited / Life Cycle Records Digital On May 9 2011. Afterwards On May 30 2011 The Debut Chris' Album "Online" Was Released. The Album Is Quite Varied Incorporating Experiences Of Life Love And Broader Inspiration Such As The Web As Heard On The Title Track "Online" Which Is About How Communication Between People Has Changed Since The Introduction Of The Internet. The Single And Album Are Both Available Worldwide On All The Biggest Digital Stores. And Finally The Second Single “But I Cannot Lose You” From The Album "Online" Is Coming Out! It’s The Up-Tempo Dance Floor Filler With Chris’ Distinctive Branded Sound And Melodic Elements. The Main Track “But I Cannot Lose You” Radio Edit Is A Stirring Combination Of Dance And Pop Music Which Has An Incredibly Fast Tempo 140bpm Perfectly Harmonizing With The Lyrics Of The Song. The Lyrical Subtext Adds A Special Thrill To The Song Chris Sings As If His Heart Is Breaking… It Won’t Leave Listeners Indifferent. The Release Date Is November 11 2011. If You Love Pop Music And If You Love Innovative And Different Music Please Stay With Chris Slanton!
