Brazilian Ephemeral Duo Created In 1972 And Disbanded In 1973 As A Folk-Psychedelic Project By Ex-Member Of Os Mutantes Rita Lee And Lucia Turnbull. Rita Lee Lucia Turnbull And Tutti Frutti Recorded Their An Album For Record Label Philips At The Eldorado Studios In São Paulo During December 1973. The Album Meant To Be Released With The Name "Tutti Frutti" Was Shelved By The Philips’ Manager André Midani And Never Officially Released. Only Years Later Were All The Tracks Released On CD & LP Under The Self-Entitled Name "Cilibrinas Do Éden" The Tracklist For This Release Also Added A Couple Of Tracks By Os Mutantes From 1972 Not Related In Any Way To These Sessions . The Songs Are A Mix Of The Psychedelic Brazilian Music Of Os Mutantes And Some Glam-Rock Freakiness. The Album Has Been Considered One Of The Best Lost Albums Of Brazilian Psychedelia. The Band Played On A Show By Os Mutantes In May 1973 At The Palácio De Convenções Do Anhembi In São Paulo. It Was Cilibrinas' First Gig. At This Show Rita And Lúcia Played With All The Os Mutantes Backline The Duo Was Dressed In Psychedelic Colorful Clothing And Feathers Like A Progressive Rock Band Making Them Look Like Outsiders Or Aliens At The Time. The Failure Of Criticism And Public Forced Them To A Change Of Plans And To The Two Were Added The Musicians Of Lisergia A Rock Band From São Paulo. Changing For A Glam-Rock Mood They Created Tutti Frutti As A Backing Band For The Solo Career Of Rita Lee. Lucia Turnbull Played And Composed As A Member Of The Band On Their 1st Record After This Becoming A Regular Writing Partner With Guest Appearances Until The Last Album Of Rita Lee & Tutti Frutti Babilônia.
