Describing Himself As A "nice Family Man Who In His Free Time Likes To Go To Battle With His Laptop And A Few Instruments " Mark Shepherd Is The Man Behind The Band Cold_Elf. From Snowmass Village Colo. Shepherd Uses His G4 Laptop And A Variety Of Sounds To Create His Music. His Album Stereo Contains The Track "Silvertree" And Features A Combination Of Collected Sounds Instruments Samples And Various Clicks Beeps And Scratches That Meld Into Peaceful Soundscapes.Shepherd Bought His First Computer In 1994 And Toyed With Some Crude Sound Editing Software. He Says His Influences Include "hobos Cowboys And Two-Headed Animals" Along With More Typical Musical Influences Such As Hank Williams And Black Heart Procession. Professionally Shepherd Is A Graphic Designer. He Also Started What He Calls A "funny Project" With His Two Sons The Band Animals With Hair. In This Band Shepherd Goes Under The Name Of LumberPants.
