Dark Matter Is An Industrial Metal Band Hailing From Jersey City NJ. Formed In 2004 The Band’s Sound Was Painstakingly Forged From The Experiences Of Its Creator Vik Who Used Music As His Vehicle Through An Unstable Period Of His Life. Using Riffs Old And New Vik Carefully Carved Out The Repertoire That Would Become The Backbone Of The Dark Matter Project And No Soon Than Enough Material H...Ad Been Gathered The Band’s First Demo – “Intergalactic Cannibalism” Was Laid Down. This Recording Proved Itself To Be A Showcase Of Raw Aggressive And In Your Face Vocals Combined With A Mix Of Buzzsaw Guitars And A Super-Tight Blend Of Furious Metal And Industrial Beats. It Wasn’t Long Before Vik Selected Other Musicians Friends From Local Bands And Further Afield And Dark Matter As Live Act Became A Reality. After Patiently Honing Their Craft The Band Proceeded To Record A Second Demo In 2007. These Sessions Produced New Tracks With New Elements - Incredible Hooks Executed With Near-Surgical Precision - Which Were To Pave The Way For The Self-Titled 7 Song E.P In 2010. Since Their Last Release Dark Matter Has Gone About The Business Of Exposing Their Sound To The Masses With Gusto. The Band Has Quickly Established A Name For Themselves As One Of The Most Exciting And Impressive Acts Of The Jersey Metal Scene. Having Played A Hectic Live Schedule Both At Home And Abroad Dark Matter Have Recently Taken Their Next Step Up The Musical Ladder By Signing A Management Deal With The Inner Light Agency.
