Born In Tallahassee Florida In1973 To Your Typical Suburban Family David Williamson Pichard II Got A Late Start In Music At The Age Of 17 With The Purchase Of Used Ibanez Bass Guitar. It Was A Beat Up Barely Functional Instrument But It Served Him Well For Many Years. Despite No Formal Training Pichard Soon Started Making Waves In The Local Scene And Within Several Months Was Part Of A Band. Pichard Soon Became The Driving Creative Force Behind Several Promising Musical Endeavors. Tallahassee Based Bands Like Action Jackson And ONa Benefitted Not Only From His Hot Licks On Lead Guitar But His Original Compositions. Heavily Influenced By The Funk And Hip-Hop Of His Youth Pichard Blended These Sounds With The Best Of Grunge Nirvana And Classic Rock James Brown . Pichard Has Devoted Himself To The Art Of Improvisation. As The Lead Guitarist In All His Musical Endeavors Pichard Is Well-Known For His Insistence On Hour-Long Jams As A Routine Part Of Band Rehearsal. The Result Is Always Astonishing As His Live Performances Feature Nuanced Ramblings Developed During These Sessions. After A Move To Juneau Alaska In 2004 Pichard Found Himself Leading Many New Creative Efforts. His Most Recent Include Slow Gun Runner.
