Artist Biography For Dean Watson
I Guess My Mother Was A Musical Influence For Me. When I Was Very Young She Would Play Or Try To Such Hits As "Purvis Boogie" And "Peg Of My Heart" And I Was Intrigued By The Sound Of The Piano. I Started To Pick It Up And My Dad Suggested Lessons. I Progressed With Lessons For 9 Years And At That Time I Felt I Was Proficient Enough To Continue On My Own. I Had Already Started Learning Improvisational Jazz On Both Guitar And Piano. In My 20's I Formed A Progressive Rock Band Called AirKraft. It Was During This Time I Met Barry Connors - Who Ended Up Being Our Drummer. I Have Since Toured Canada Playing In The June Garba Band And Also Had A Brief Stint With Dennis De'Sousa Latin .
