Defamation League Was Formed In The Fall Of 2005. The Group Started As A Tongue In Cheek Horror-Core Trio. And The Groups First Album "The Anatomy Of Grit-Hop" Reflected This. A Hyper-Violent Over The Top Slice Of Glorified Drug Use And Broken Morality. The Album Was Good Enough To Get Defamation League A San Diego Music Award For Best Hip-Hop Group. In 2007 Defamation League Released Their Follow Up Album "League Of The Living Dead". Although Not As Violent As Their Previous Release The Debauchery Was Just As Abundant With Tracks Spotlighting The Internet Porn Industry Drug Induced Time Travel And Excessive Drinking. "League Of The Living Dead" Was Nominated For Best Hip-Hop Album At The 2007 SDMA's. 2008 Saw Change Come To The Band With The Arrest Of Lead Singer Khemical Ali And The Departure Of MC Dune Murderous. Defamation League Soon Adopted A Full Band And Assumed A Live Hip-Hop Identity. In 2010 The Group Released "No Sympathy". A Blend Of Alternative Rock And Old School Hip-Hop. The Albums Title Track Was Described By San Diego Rock Legend Bart Mendoza As "one Of 2010’s Best Rock Songs". The Band Has Been Hard At Work Since Then And Recently Released An EP Of Singles From Their Upcoming Album Which Remains Untitled.
