Artist Biography For Delayscape

Delayscape Is A Native Of Denmark Living In The Suburbs Of Its Capital Copenhagen. He Started Making Music In The Early Nineties When He Teamed Up With A Couple Of Friends To Produce Their Own Tracks Inspired By Industrial-Acts Like Skinny Puppy Front Line Assembly And Front 242. He Founded The Band 'Swimwear Catalogue' In 1993 Shifting From Industrial To A Mix Of Ambient Electro And Synth Experiments Releasing Albums On April Records And Hypnotic. He Is Now Part Of The Industrial-Band Rainscape But Keeps Working On His Solo Project Delayscape Which He Started In 2003 Inspired By His Love For 80s Electropop IDM And New Electro From Labels Like Canadas Suction Records Rephlex And Viewlexx. He Released Material On Netlabels Like Acrylik Clusterflux Monotonik And Cold Room. He Doesn't Own A Laptop And Uses No Plugins. Everything Is Made With Hardware Synths Drum Machines And Delay Boxes Some Digtal But Most Of Them Analogue And Sequenced By A Clunky Old PC. So Expect Lots Of Background Noises Behind His Trademark Melancholy Melodies Acid Bloops And 808 Beats.
