Artist Biography For Depresszió

Depresszió Is A Hungarian Modern Rock/metal Band Formed In Late 1999 By Vocalist/guitarist Ferenc Halász Guitarist Ádám Hartmann Drummer Dávid Nagy And Bassist Roland Reichert. They Released Their First Album Tiszta Erőből In 2000 Followed By A Tour Supporting Tankcsapda And Several Festival Appearances. By The Time Their Second Album Amíg Tart Was Recorded In 2002 Roland Had Been Replaced By Zoltán Kovács However He Still Appeared In The Music Video For Lásd Amit Neked Szántak Which Was Filmed Before The Recording Sessions Took Place. After The Album Came Out The Band's Popularity Began To Rise Packing Clubs Across The Country And Appearing At Almost Every Major Hungarian Festival In 2003. The Autumn Of 2004 Saw The Release Of The Third Album Egy Életen Át Which Includes Their Most Popular Single To Date Nem Akarok Elszakadni. The Next Year The Band Embarked On A Tour To Celebrate Their Fifth Birthday And Recorded The Tour's Biggest Show At Budapest's Petőfi Csarnok For A DVD Which Came Out In November Under The Name Depi Birthday. During The Spring Of 2006 They Released Their First EP Még1x Followed By The Full-Length Az Ébredés Útján In Autumn And Touring All Through 2007 Performing In 5 Countries And Sharing Stages With The Likes Of Motörhead Korn And Soulfly Among Others. The Following Year The Band Put Out Another DVD Entitled De3 14 Live And Recorded Their Newest Studio Album Egyensúly Which Was Released In December. 2009 Was Once Again Spent With Touring Including A Gig Opening For Machine Head At Hegyalja Fesztivál. The Band Has Recently Announced The Inclusion Of Keyboardist Miklós 'Soda' Pálffy To The Line-Up For Live Shows Starting With October And Are Currently Planning To Release A Compilation Album Entitled Nincs Jobb Kor In February 2010.
