When Tommy Davidson Chose The Moniker Dream Cop While Sifting Through A Copy Of Burrough’s Naked Lunch He Was Unaware Of How Fitting The Name Would Become. Raised In Washington D.C. Davidson Began Experimenting With Any Musical Instrument He Could Get His Hands On. As A Virginia Tech College Student He Then Began Recording Hazy Hypnotic Tunes At Home But His Washy Yet Texturized Music Would Not Remain In The Privacy Of His Bedroom For Long. Davidson Quickly Went From Putting Personal Recordings On His Myspace To Being Featured On The Esteemed Pitchfork Forkcast. The Multi-Instrumentalist Released His First Single “Basement Tapes” Late This Summer Via Output. Not Pausing For Breath Davidson Follows His Debut With An 8 Track White Label 12” Entitled Mango EP. Featuring Four Original Tracks And Four Remixes On The Flip It’s A Dense Inward Looking Listen Built Upon Immaculately Positioned Layers Of Sound.
