Artist Biography For Dzod
Scottish Born George Dzod Was Influenced By The Glasgow House/Techno Scene Back In The Early 90’s. This Inspired Him To Buy Old Analogue Synths And Drum Machines That Were At The Time Very Easily Available In The Second Hand Markets Of Glasgow. You Really Do Not Want To Know How Cheap He Bought His TB-303. Writing Music With His Friend Under The Name Of Avarice He Did A Few Low Key Gigs In His Home Town Of Greenock. Several Years Later His Career Brought Him To Bristol England In 1997 Where He Soon Discovered And Absorbed The Local Deep/Tech House Scene And Refined His Sound. After A Long Sabbatical He Has Picked Up His Musical Journey Where He Left Off And Continues To Write As Dzod In His New Home Of London.
