At Least Two Bands Have Gone By The Name "Electric Sun" 1 Electric Sun Was A Psychedelic Hard Rock Band Of Virtuoso Guitarist Uli Jon Roth Formed When He Departed From Scorpions In 1978. The Musicians In The Band Changed After Each Album Roth Being The Main Man Handling Guitars And Vocals. Discography 'Earthquake' 1979 - Featuring Ule W. Ritgen And Clive Edwards.
'Fire Wind' 1980 'Beyond The Astral Skies' 1984 The First Two Albums Are Somewhat Jimi Hendrix-Influenced Rock With A Slight 70's Heavy Metal Sound At Times. The Third One Beyond The Astral Skies Widened The Musical Scale A Lot Resulting An Ambitious Work Of Symphonic Rock. The Albums Have Been Released As Many Different Versions And A Bit Confusing Detail Being That Some Have The Name Electric Sun On The Cover While Some Have Just Uli Jon Roth.
