Electroputas Is A Trio From New York City Created In The Late 90's. They Play An Aggressive Mixture Of Different Kinds Of Music Such As Noise Avant-Garde Psychedelic Japanese Freakout Krautrock No Wave Etc. The Band Was Created By Joe Frivaldi Hungary Jaiko Suzuki And Akio Mokuno Both From Japan . Electroputas Is Rather Underground Group Which Rarely Plays In The Clubs Of NYC. They Already Played With Black Dice William Parker Pan Sonic Arto Lindsay No Neck Blues Band Caroliner Rainbow Aka Caroliner & James Chance.
In 1999 Electroputas Recorded Their First Album Titled 6 Or 7 Special Operations The Next One Was Recorded With Jim Sclavunos Drummer And Musician Played With Teenage Jesus And The Jerks I 8 Eyed Spy Collaborated With Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds That Has Been In Limbo For A Few Years. Only Their Piano Bloom EP A Part Of The Social Registry’s 12” Series Has Had Wide Distribution. In 2004 Electroputas Released A New Album The 3 Which Brings A Range Of Guests Including Josh Diamond Z Gang Gang Dance Zulemma Castillo And Abdel Kader Ouedraogo. The Music From The 3 Has Been Already Compared To The Accomplishments Of Such Artists As Chrome Lightning Bolt Ciccone Youth. read less
