FLO Is A British R&B Group Consisting Of Three Members Jorja Douglas Stella Quaresma And Renée Downer. They Burst Onto The Music Scene In 2022 With Their Debut Single "Cardboard Box". In The Same Year FLO Would Go On To Release Their Debut EP "The Lead" And A Subsequent EP Titled "3 Of Us" In 2023. FLO's Style Derives From R&B And Hip-Hop Particularly From The 1990's And 2000's. This Style Is Further Accentuated By Their Music Videos With The Music Video For "Cardboard Box" Inviting Comparisons To The Likes Of TLC And Destiny's Child. "Control Freak" Serves As The First Track On FLO's Second EP Titled "3 Of Us." The Song Is An Assertive Anthem About Rejecting A Controlling And Possessive Partner. From The Beginning The Narrator Realizes Her Partner's Overstepping Boundaries Attempting To Control Her Life. Despite Only Recently Meeting Each Other The Partner Became Too Comfortable With Controlling Every Aspect Of The Woman's Life. While She May Allow Her Partner To Hold Her She Has No Intention Of Being With Somebody So Controlling.
