Izzys First Drums Were Coffee Cans And Buckets And My First Guitar Came From A Mail Order Catalog It Was A Acoustic With The Strings About A Inch Off The Neck It Was Hard To Play But It Built My Finger Strength And Callouses Up Quick. We Played As A Three Piece Band For Years With Occasional Guitar Players Coming And Going Till Ron Lands Sit In With Us One Night He Is Guitar Player And Steel Player Who Has Played With A Lot Of Nashville Stars And Players We Couldn't Believe How Good He Was And That He Wanted To Play With Us He Blew Us Away We Started Recording With Him Right Away In A Home Studio Laying Down The Tracks On This Cd. He Brung A Sound And A Feel We Had Been Searching For For Years He Made Us Better He Gave Us Hope That If A Player Of His Caliber Believed In Us That Maybe We Might Make It After All . Ron Came From Oregon Originally Before Moving To Georgia He Jokes And Says He Was So Poor Growing Up That He Had To Wear His Sisters Dress Sometimes He Was Raised On A Farm And A Indian Reservation So He Related To Us And Loved The Same Music As We Did.
