Artist Biography For Henzel

HenzeL Was Formed In December Of 2002. Starting Out They Kept The Band's Existence A Secret Even Their First Performance On December 20 At Takadanobaba Area Was Done In Secret. The Beginning Of January 2003 Saw The 'official' Start Of HenzeL Along With Their First Non-Secret Concert On January 13 Again At Takadanobaba Area. On February 15 And 19 The Band Had Their Next Lives Both Were Free Shows. They Began To Participate In Several Events Gaining More And More Popularity. July 25 Of The Same Year Was The Date Of HenzeL's First One-Man Live Held At Meguro Rock May Kan. Soon After On August 1 Their First Maxi-Single Seishun LOVE LETTER Was Released. They Had More Tour Dates For August And Ended With Another One-Man Show. On October 31 They Organized A Small Event Together With The Band Delta Ark At Meguro Rock May Kan. A Month Later They Released Their First Demo-Tape Hi-Ro Zuokoshi Which Was Only Available Through Mail Order Through Fool's Mate Magazine And Sold Out Quickly. With December Came The Release Of Their Next Maxi-Single Happy Flower Followed By The Band's Birthday Celebration. They Held Two Free One-Man Lives On December 17 And 18 And Gave The Single Kusuriyubi As A Little Early Christmas Present To The Fans. To Kick Off 2004 HenzeL Began A Tour That Lasted Until June And Participated In The Compilation Album Decadence 2004 ~ SPLEEN & IDEAL Which Was Released On The 30th Of The Same Month. More Performances Followed For The Band And Led To The Release Of The Maxi-Single Ame Iro DARLING In October. However On The 2nd Of December Guitarist Asana Left The Group Turning The Five-Piece Band Into A Four-Piece. This Did Not Stop Them And They Continued On Just As Strongly As They Had Been. Despite Now Being One Member Shorter Than They Had Been 2005 Seemed Promising. In February They Participated In An Oddly Paired Coupling Tour With Girugamesh And In April Their First Mini-Album DRAMATiC PARTY Was Released. They Continued To Tour And In June Held A Three Man Event With Soroban And Luvie. Later That Month Released The Second Press Version Of DRAMATiC PARTY. September Brought Yet Another One-Man Live For HenzeL And Shortly After In October They Released Their Fourth Maxi-Single RAINBOW COLOR Which Was To Be Their Last Before Their Disbandment. They Toured Into The Beginning Of 2006 Right Until Their Last Live On January 20 In Harajuku. Author Kei 2008-09-12
