Ian Won Early Recognition For This Is Water With The Albert P. Weisman Award At Columbia College Chicago Where Ian Is Earning His Master’s In Music And Arts Management. He Keeps His Wits Sharp Teaching Songwriting Keyboards And Voice At School Of Rock Chicago The Nation’s Premiere Educational Institution For The Corruption Of Well-Mannered And Quiet Children. 2 Ian Wilson Born Belfast 1964 Was The First To Be Awarded The D.Phil In Composition From The University Of Ulster Which In 1993 Commissioned His Orchestral Work Rise In Celebration Of The Tenth Anniversary Of Its Foundation. From 2000 To 2003 Ian Wilson Was AHRB Research Fellow In Creative And Performing Arts At The University Of Ulster. Ian Wilson’s Music Covers A Spectrum That Is Freely Chromatic At One End And Diatonic At The Other. His Earlier Leaning Towards Homophony Has Adapted To Accommodate His Increasing Focus On Linear Writing. His Sources Of Inspiration Are Wide-Ranging And Include The Paintings Of Klee Sculpture And The Words Of The Bible. 3 Ian Wilson Is An Independent Singer/songwriter From York England.
