Artist Biography For Image Transmission
Image Transmission Is A 4-Man "electro" Formation From ‘s-Gravenzande/The Hague The Netherlands. Since 1992 The Band Has Produced A Wide-Ranged Repertoire Of Numerous Original Songs. From The Beginning Image Transmission’s Music Has Been Stamped With Their Own Trademark Of Many Melodic Sequencers Compactness And Danseable Songs Which Already Resulted In A Number Of Clubhits In Europe And The U.S.A. From 1992 Image Transmission Performed Regurlarly In The Netherlands Belgium And Germany. The Concerts Are Charactarised By The Enthousiastic Dancing Audience A Special Made Wide-Screen Video Light Show Stroboscopes Smoke And Especially The Highly Danseable Pounding Live Music. Image Transmission Differs From Many Electro Bands By Practicing Every Week On Several Live-Sets Which Live Results In A Superbly Streamlined And Professional Formation With Lots Of Room For Improvisation. During The Period Of 1992-1994 Image Transmission Released 2 Demo-Tapes Under Own Production Which Resulted In A Long-Term Contract With The German Label And Distributor Discordia. From 1994 Until 1996 Image Transmission Released 2 Cd’s And 1 Mini-Cd And Several Songs Appear On Compilations. The International Press And Audiences Have Given The Cd’s Rave Reviews. After 1 Year "Regurgitation" Required A Second Pressing. The Second Full-Length Cd "HLC" Already Needed To Be Repressed After Three Months Of The Release Date. In January 1998 The 3rd Cd "Filth" Was Released On The New German Label "Triton Records".
As Per May 2000 Image Transmission Decided To End Their 10 Year Carreer In The Electro Scene. Even If The Band Isn't Performing Anymore Image Transmission's CD's Live On.
