His Father Left When He Was A Child And His Mother Struggled With Substance Abuse Issues. When Jaysolo Was Ten Years Old A Choir Teacher Discovered His Natural Talent And Offered Him The Musical Lead In A School Production. His Performance In The Play Whose Plot Eerily Mirrored His Life Intensely Moved His Mother Motivating Her To Seek Treatment. “That’s When I First Realized The Power Of Music ” Jaysolo Remembers. Sadly His Mother’s Continued Setbacks Forced Jaysolo Into The Foster Care System Where He Was Shuffled Between Group Homes And Shelters From The Age Of 14.
